Lace Knitting is something I've always admired. The pattern motifs are simply beautiful. Being new to knitting I'm a bit hesitant to attempt my first project. It means learning to read diagrams and I have to be even more careful when reading my patterns. I will probably start off with something that has a small amount of lace-work and go forward from there. Who knows! Lace may not be as scary as it looks.
